Yordanka Gancheva supports the organization’s financial management, particularly monitoring the budget implementation and financial reporting of individual projects and initiatives.
She has thirty years’ experience in research, project development, management and reporting, and in financial and operational management of NGOs both in Bulgaria and other countries in the region.
She entered the non‑profit sector in 1994 and until 2003 served consecutively as office manager, researcher and financial director of the Institute for Market Economics in Sofia. She is a co‑founder and member of the management boards of the Access to Information Programme Foundation and the Living Village Foundation, and initiator, co‑founder and chair of the board of the Forum for Monitoring and Analysis of Public Policies Foundation since their establishment.
Since 2020 she has been the financial manager of the Heroes of the Time Foundation but continues to work with other NGOs whose causes she supports, providing expert assistance on financial management and reporting of their projects and campaigns.
