Marieta Radulova is a psychologist by profession. She served as a guidance counselor at 81st Secondary School “V. Hugo” in Sofia; since 2001 she has been part of the team of the Asen Zlatarov Home and the Step by Step Foundation, working on activities aimed at supporting and protecting children and youth from vulnerable groups.
At the Parents Association since 2008 she has coordinated and led various national and international projects related to communication, violence prevention and informal school practices, and she has authored texts in manuals for parents, teachers and young people. She trains on topics such as volunteer management, prevention of virtual and real violence, online safety, and successful practices of family‑school interaction.
Since 2019 she has been part of the Education without Backpacks team and is happy to work towards a vision of innovative digital education tailored to the interests and potential of every child.
Marieta Radulova holds degrees in Child and Counseling Psychology from Sofia University “St. Clement of Ohrid,” has a specialization in Organizational Psychology and a teaching qualification. She is an active volunteer with the CVS‑Bulgaria association, has been a leader of international social camps and youth exchanges, and has participated in volunteer camps in Bulgaria and abroad. In her free time she enjoys reading, traveling and discovering new cultures.
